S.W.O.R.D. International has introduced a new high caliber AR-style rifle for their 2014 inventory. The Mk-18 Mod 0, chambered in .338, is a semi-automatic gas piston operated rifle with a 22 inch barrel, 7075-T6 receivers, full-length free-floating KeyMod rail, and a non-reciprocating side charging handle. The Mk-18 Mod 0 retails for $6995.
New for Seekins Precision in 2014 is their new .308 AR that weighs in at 9.5 lbs (w/o optics). Their first .308 rifle offers ambidextrous features in the bolt release, magazine release, selector switch, and charging handle. The SR25 patterned lower receiver will accept all SR25-style magazines as well as the .308 Magpul PMAG. The upper receiver’s rail extends approximately 1.5” to allow for more optic mounting locations. The flat bottomed 3 Gun Rail is 15” long and is designed to be placed on top of a barricade for providing a stable shooting platform.
Armalite has added another model to their precision rifle line-up in 2014 with the sub-MOA Armalite AR-31. The AR-31’s 24” barrel is chambered in .308 WIN, has a short bolt action, a single-stage Shilen trigger, and accepts AR-10B double-stack magazines. While test firing this rifle, there is very light felt recoil, which is similar to shooting a 5.56mm AR-style rifle, and consistently hit a 5” steel plate at 100 yards (maximum distance at range during test). The AR-31 retails for $3,46.00. For more information visit, http://www.armalite.com/, or call 1-800-336-0184.
